Loft Boiler Cabinet with Shelving – Chingford

Project: Made-to-Measure Loft Boiler Cabinet with Shelving – Chingford

For this loft space in Chingford, we built and installed a custom under-eaves cabinet to neatly conceal the boiler and pipework while also creating useful internal shelving for storage. The aim was a clean, built-in look that follows the roof slope and keeps everything accessible for maintenance.

The brief

The client wanted:

  • A tidy way to hide the boiler and exposed services
  • Extra storage shelves within the same run
  • A finish that matches the loft angles for a seamless, fitted look
  • Easy access panels/doors for servicing and day-to-day use

What we did

  • Built a timber framework to suit the sloping ceiling and create a strong, square structure.
  • Installed slatted internal shelves on the left side—ideal for light storage while allowing airflow.
  • Formed a dedicated boiler access section on the right, keeping the area practical and reachable.
  • Fitted angled door/front panels to follow the roofline and give a clean, modern finish.
  • Left the unit neat and ready for final decorating/finishing as required.

Result

A smart, space-saving loft solution that turns an awkward under-eaves area into a neat boiler enclosure with functional storage—clean from the outside, organised on the inside, and designed with service access in mind.
